As we start our Easter weekend I have been thinking about ‘transformation’ a lot recently.
‘Digital transformation’, transformative leadership, ‘transformative’ startups. If you aren’t transforming you are somehow missing out.
It all seems too easy. Organisations follow a ‘quick recipe’, companies seemingly overnight pop up with successful businesses. The problem with these tales as they gloss over the pesky little detail that transformation is hard, messy and most often takes a long time
The thing is, you are always transforming, you just aren’t aware of it. The same with organisations. Instead of trying to manage it, try embracing it instead, including all the messiness and time.
